It's an interesting question that one of our commenters has asked about, just how old (or young) should you be to consider yourself a cougar or a cub? On this site, we decided a cougar should be 38 years or older. Maybe 40 or older should have been the milestone, but 38 feels right as well. The thing it, it's all relative. A 38 year old woman with a 22 year old guy is a cougar-cub relationship. The same 38 year old dating a 37 year old guy is not really a cougar. It's not an age you need to qualify to be one or ther other, it's your relationship or preference.
